Moving Mountains by Robert Sneed
Great morning for a good cup of coffee!…
As I scroll through my FB feed I frequently come across several posts asking questions about "LDRs" in several of the groups I'm in.
While LDRs are not for everyone, LDRs can work and be very successful, but it takes a lot of work, communication, trust, and patience with each other. Like everything else we experience in life, there are pros and cons.
If an LDR is something that you're considering, make sure you go over the pros and cons with yourself. And when you meet that special someone, go over the pros and cons with each other.
If you both decide an LDR is something you both are willing to do, discuss and find a plan that best fits both of your schedules when it comes to communicating with each other.
An LDR can be a good thing, for example...when you're both apart it gives you the chance to really get to know that special someone, mentally, & emotionally without the distraction of physical interaction. When apart it gives the heart a chance to miss or yearn for the other. And when you both are together it makes the physical interaction that much more amazing! In the end, it really comes down to how much both of you really want to be with each other.
"When we really, and truly want something or someone bad enough, we'll move mountains to obtain it"
Great blog entry, Robert.
I don't do long term relationships but it's great if people can
Good points to consider.
