It’s a new year and as we all continue in our journey I want to share one truth that struck me late last year.
I met a guy who’s nice, caring, and honestly refreshing in conversations.
At one point a fear came upon me that in liking him, he has the potential to break my heart.
In a time of quietness, The LORD began to speak to me.
The truth is I/we have experienced the greatest heartbreak we will ever experience, the loss of our spouse. It will be 2 years in March and I/we are alive to tell about it.
Don’t get me wrong, I still have some rough days. However, by the grace and mercies of GOD I, we are still here.
Embracing this revealed truth, the fear went away. If he or any other breaks my heart, I have an assurance that I will recover.
My point in this message is we must be open to sharing our hearts and enjoying every single day.
We can’t predict the future, it’s in GOD’s hands. I choose to live and embrace all that He has for me. Happy New Year to all and GOD bless us all.
