Tuesday’s Tragedy of Terror by Deborah Hemingway Conley
(As we all know as members of WWD, we help ourselves as well as others when we share in our grief and healing. Today's blog entry is a poem by Deborah Hemingway Conley commemorating the united grief and healing of an entire nation. Thanks, Deborah!

Tuesday’s tragedy of terror; nine-one-one mourns the date.
The day thousands of proud Americans were forced to meet their fate.
Terrorist hi-jacked, and then crashed in our planes,
Causing human-being bombs to burst in fire and flames.
With the whole world watching in shock and dumb-found,
The World Trade Twin Towers came tumbling down.
They bombed our Pentagon and our Pennsylvania State.
They terrorized our Nation; they carved out our Fate.
Oh help us Oh God, our Nation all cried,
Our hearts soaked in sorrow for our thousands that died.
But see with your hearts what your eyes could not see,
The thousands of souls that God had set free.
They soared right up to heaven on wings as a dove,
Met God in all His Glory, were bathed in all His Love.
God called up an Army of Angels, through those sun-kissed skies.
They blew you Love and Kisses; they lovingly said Good-byes.
Tuesday’s tragedy of terror throws America to war,
To halt the death and destruction that was cast upon our shore.
But take great comfort in knowing, our loved ones that have died,
Are Guardian Angels in Heaven; they Guard our American Pride!
